  • Raphael Ding, Director
    Mr. Raphael Ding Wai Chuen was appointed as a Director of the Group on 5 December 2018. Mr. Ding is an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Greenheart Group Limited (HK stock code: 94). Mr. Ding graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”). He has over 30 years of experience in professional accountancy with international firms in England and Hong Kong and with HKICPA. Before joining the Company, Mr. Ding served for six years as the chief executive of the HKICPA. Mr. Ding was an independent non-executive director, non-executive director and executive director of Lam Soon (Hong Kong) Limited (stock code: 411) from 2004 to 2012 and an independent non-executive director and executive director of Guoco Group Limited (stock code: 53) from 2006 to 2012. Mr. Ding was a member of the Commission on Strategic Development of the HKSAR Government from November 2005 to June 2007 and a member of Pan-Pearl River Delta Panel of the Central Policy Unit of the HKSAR Government from 2006 to 2009. Mr. Ding was a council member of HKICPA and a member of the Financial Reporting Review Panel of the Financial Reporting Council between 2007 and 2012. Since 2002, Mr. Ding has served as a member of the PRC Ministry of Finance Advisory Group of Foreign Experts for the development of the PRC’s Independent Auditing Standards. In 2007, he was an advisor to the HKICPA, for convergence of Hong Kong and the PRC accounting and auditing standards. In 2016, he served as a member of PRC Ministry of Finance Accounting Standards Advisory Committee. Between November 2014 and October 2018, Mr. Ding represented Hong Kong to serve on the board of International Federation of Accountants, the global organization for the accountancy profession with over 170 members and associates in 130 countries and jurisdictions.

  • Alvin Lim, Director

    Mr. Alvin Lim Hoe Pin has been appointed as a Director of the Group since 7 June 2016. Mr. Lim is an Executive Director of Greenheart Group (HK stock code: 94). A graduate of accountancy from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Mr. Lim is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Lim brings to the Group over two decades of experience in auditing, investment, accounting and financial management. Mr. Lim has a wide range of experience in financial due diligence, restructuring, and merger and acquisitions, in particular resources projects. As Senior Consultant at First Gateway Capital (formerly known as "First U.S. Capital"), he was instrumental in helping clients in early stage investment, and providing counsel to small and medium enterprises across Asia, with a focus on transportation, resources, manufacturing, technology and telecommunications. In the earlier days of his career life, he held managerial positions at Ernst and Young, and Transpac Capital, a private equity firm based in Hong Kong with offices in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and U.S.A. He joined Sino-Forest Corporation in 2002, and was appointed as Vice President - Finance & Group Financial Controller in 2004.

  • Zhao Wei-Mao, Senior Vice President
    Mr. Zhao Wei-Mao is Senior Vice President - Development & Operations, S&E China of the Group. Mr. Zhao was graduated from Beijing Forestry University with a master degree in wood science. After graduation, he held teaching positions in the university for years. Between 1988 and 2002, Mr. Zhao served as General Manager of Shenzhen Everbright Wood Industry Co. Ltd. responsible for business development of the company. He joined Sino-Forest Corporation as Senior Vice President in 2002. In search of timber opportunities, Mr. Zhao has conducted extensive field investigations in forest-rich countries and regions from Siberia in the north to South Africa and New Zealand in the South. He has left his footprints in almost all rainforest countries.

    Ms. Chen Hua is Senior Vice President – Administration & Finance, China of the Group. Ms. Chen was graduated from China Europe International Business School with a MBA degree. Between 1988 and 2002, Ms. Chen served as Deputy Director of the Management Committee of New District of Suzhou Municipal People's Government and Board Chairman of Suzhou New District Economic Development Group Corporation, with experiences in property development, finance, travel, import and export, and hi-tech sectors. Ms. Chen joined Sino-Forest Corporation as Senior Vice President in 2002.
